Because visible minority Chinese and South Asian households are not all the same, it is important for marketers to identify language preferences, the degree of affinity with Canada versus their homeland and drivers of purchase decisions. Every dissemination area with a significant Chinese or South Asian population has been assigned one of six AccultuRates segments.
