Environics Analytics Announces 2013 Update For All Data and Software Products

Apr 30, 2013, 06:31 AM by Environics Analytics
Environics Analytics (EA) today announced the 2013 update of its suite of marketing analytics products

Environics Analytics (EA) today announced the 2013 update of its suite of marketing analytics products, including PRIZMC2 and ENVISION, as well as databases on consumer expenditures, demographics and lifestyle preferences. The annual release provides users with the most comprehensive and up-to-date set of marketing-related data and software available in Canada.

The update covers more than two dozen databases, including HouseholdSpend, DaytimePop and DemoStats (formerly Demographic Estimates and Projections), with statistics for 2013 and projections for 2016, 2018 and 2023. In addition, the update covers PRIZMC2 links to key Canadian marketing surveys and databases from such sources as Environics Research’s Social Values, PMB, BBM RTS Canada, NADbank, Canadian Financial Monitor and AskingCanadians™. (WealthScapes will be updated in the second quarter of 2013.) The new data can also be accessed using EA’s popular software tools, including ENVISION, Alteryx and PCensus.

To introduce the 2013 update, EA will conduct a webinar on Thursday, April 11, at 2:00 PM EDT, hosted by Jim Green and Teresa DiPalma, Vice President and Director of Product Management, respectively. The session also will focus on ENVISION 2.6, the latest edition of EA’s popular web-based tool for consumer insights and market analysis. The new version offers additional applications and an improved user experience. All EA customers are invited to attend the hour-long presentation. Pleaseregister here for the free webinar.

The 2013 update incorporates the latest findings of the 2011 Census from Statistics Canada, including changes to the base geography (dissemination areas or DAs). Approximately 85 percent of DAs remain unchanged, but the boundaries of many existing DAs have shifted, and entirely new DAs have been created in areas of population growth. With the new 2011 geography, EA’s data products will provide a stable platform for marketing analyses for the next five years.

As with all its products and services, the 2013 update reflects EA’s longstanding commitment to disseminate the most reliable and up-to-date statistics available to companies, government agencies and not-for-profits. The information helps organizations make informed decisions when marketing to customers, forecasting new trade areas, selecting retail sites, analyzing population and household trends, and developing media plans.

“With our updated data and software, our customers can be certain that their marketing and planning efforts are based on the most reliable information available on demographics, spending, lifestyles and media preferences,” says Jan Kestle, President and Founder of EA.
