Environics Analytics Signs Agreement with R. L. Polk Canada

Environics Analytics (EA) today announced that it has signed a long-term agreement with R. L. Polk Canada, Inc., that allows Polk to offer analytical services to the automotive industry using EA data and software. The three-year deal provides R. L. Polk Canada, Inc., with access to demographic datasets such as EA’s DemoStats and CensusPlus, its popular PRIZMC2 segmentation system and the innovative ENVISION micromarketing tool. 

 

As the automotive industry’s leading provider of market intelligence and data solutions, Polk has for nine years given its clients access to PRIZMC2 profiles based on vehicle ownership information contained in New Vehicle Registrations, Total Vehicles in Operation and Retail Vehicles in Operation databases. Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, EA has quickly grown to become one of the leading marketing services and data analytics companies in Canada. Prior to signing the new deal, the two companies sold each other’s data on a project-by-project basis, which has helped marketers in various organizations uncover customer insights based on automotive tastes.

The new agreement represents a deeper partnership between the two companies, with Polk adopting EA tools in-house in order to better integrate EA’s offerings with Polk’s automotive datasets. As a result, vehicle manufacturers, parts makers and automotive dealers working with Polk will develop a better understanding of their customers for target marketing, merchandising and customer relationship management.
