EAs new Site Privacy Policy is intended for the purposes of providing the website user with transparency in the way in which the EA website collects user information and in turn how we use it, and dispose of it.

What personal information does EA collect on its website and why?

Profile Data

EA may collect, store, and use information which is voluntarily provided by our users to EA through our website. This may occur, for example, in instances where our website users engage with our Human Resources portal to apply for job postings, or to register for our SPOTLIGHT e-commerce platform. Through these types of transactions EA may obtain personal information from you such as, for example - name, email address, mailing address, and any other personal information collected.  

This privacy policy does not address information collected through Environics Analytics services, which is described in the Environics Analytics Services Privacy Policy.

Cookies

EA uses “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when EA uses a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving you time on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track the interests of our users to enhance their experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.

Enquiry Data

We may process your personal data information provided by you in forms on our website, which includes personal data you provide when registering for a course or event offered by EA. This enquiry data may include your name, title, address, telephone number, email address, job title, dietary restrictions and access (to events).

Notification Data

We may process information that a client provides to us for the purpose of subscribing to our blog, product notifications and/or email newsletters.

 

Limited Collection

The Personal Information collected will be limited to those details necessary for the purpose identified by EA. With your consent, EA may collect Personal Information from you on our website.

 

Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention

Personal Information may only be used or disclosed for the purpose for which it was collected unless you have consented otherwise, or when it is required or permitted by law. Personal Information will only be retained for the period required to fulfill the purpose for which EA collected it or as may be required by law.

If you have submitted personally identifiable information to Environics Analytics and would like that information to be removed from our database, please send an email to privacy@environicsanalytics.com and request that your information be removed.

The accuracy of your Personal Information and ensuring that it is complete and up to date is important to EA. Please notify us if you discover inaccuracies in our records or your Personal Information changes in a way EA should be aware of.

EA has appointed a Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) to ensure accountability, to effectively manage a privacy management program designed to protect privacy and for setting policies and processes. Contacting EA regarding complaints, report security incidents, express concerns and feedback regarding EA privacy and security practices can be done by emailing, phoning, or mailing the Chief Privacy Officer using the information below.
