Insurance companies have an excellent understanding of their customers from a policy or claim standpoint, but they lack the data to tell them much about their customer's life stage, whether they have children or what they do in their spare time. These are the types questions insurance companies need to answer to target their marketing and improve the insurance buying experience, says Ivankovic.
