LiveRamp to Be Acquired by Publicis by the End of 2026
On May 17, 2026, LiveRamp announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Publicis Groupe, a global leader in communications. The transaction is expected to close before year-end 2026.
Our partnership with LiveRamp – and what this means for you
Under a long-term agreement, Environics Analytics (EA) is the exclusive provider of LiveRamp's suite of data collaboration products and services in and for Canada. This will not change. LiveRamp will continue to operate as an independent, neutral, and fully interoperable platform within the Publicis Groupe– with no restrictions on service access for current or potential customers, no changes to pricing outside normal business practices, and Scott Howe continuing as CEO. In other words, it’s business as usual.
How we deliver data collaboration services in Canada
LiveRamp products are valued components of EA’s Data Collaboration Services. EAVault is a fully integrated, interoperable, trusted and safe data collaboration environment built by EA specifically for Canada. It connects best-in-class technologies (including LiveRamp's identity resolution engine, clean room and connectivity capabilities) with other technology components and applications. All services are delivered within a rigorous security and governance framework – backed by ISO Privacy by Design certification. For us, safe in Canada means not just PIPEDA and CASL compliance, but with built-in governance that is validated on an on-going basis against best practices, changing laws, global standards and emerging AI policy directions.
EA’s extensive proprietary data and cloud-native platform, ENVISION, are also available within this environment for advanced analytics and consumer insight, enabling our clients – both Canadian and global – to benefit from the breadth and depth of the full ecosystem.
