Environics Analytics Names Snowflake Partner of the Year for 2021
Partner helped EA set up key environment to develop core data products
Toronto, December 2, 2021 – Environics Analytics (EA) announced at its annual user conference on November 17, 2021, that data warehousing leader, Snowflake, is the recipient of its Partner of the Year award.
A valued partner, Snowflake has supported EA’s ambitious product development initiatives as the data and analytics firm moves further into the realm of big data. Faced with the unique challenges of creating products that require the storage and processing of billions of rows of data, Snowflake has helped EA store and manage these extensive datasets and reduce the processing time of complex geographic calculations on trillions of observations from weeks to seconds.

This award celebrates the strong partnership between the two organizations that commenced in 2018 and led to Snowflake helping EA set up the environment needed to develop several key products, including their VisitorView, MobileScapes and ClickScapes databases. Specific recognition for their exemplary contributions goes to Chris Peart, Stephen Toms, John Scrivener and Shireen Irani.
The Partner of the Year award was presented at the Environics Analytics 15th Annual User Conference, a virtual event that attracted more than 800 participants representing many industries and every sector, including not-for-profit and public. With a theme of “Act On Fact.” the day-long event featured 18 client presentations, innovation announcements, an inspiring keynote presentation and demonstrations of data-based business intelligence tools, such as the company’s popular PRIZM® segmentation system, MobileScapes mobile movement data and the ENVISION consumer insights and market intelligence platform.
