The Type II SOC 1 & CSAE 3416 report provides an assurance that internal and connected external reporting controls are appropriately designed, in place, and validated through rigorous testing.
The Type II SOC 2 report is an American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) technical audit to ensure that trust service categories such as security, availability, processing, integrity, and confidentiality of customer data meet specific metrics and standards.
The HIPAA certification is aligned with essential elements of HIPAA and HITECH. Internal controls must meet the standard and implementation guidelines defined by the HIPAA Security Rules, such as Administrative Safeguards, Physical Safeguards, Technical Safeguards, Organizations Requirements, and Breach Notification.
